Liquid soap is getting more and more popular these days. A bottle of liquid soap is preferred to a bar of soap because the former leads to a tidier washbasin and more hygiene usage.

Despite its advantages, liquid soap requires a dispenser that usually occupies larger space than a soap bar. A wall-mounted soap dispenser provides the solution for saving valuable space in restroom and especially in shower.

To mount a soap dispenser, you don’t have to apply nails. With a small tube of silicone glue, you can bond the dispenser tightly to the wall without any nail hammering. Also, you can remove the dispenser later without leaving permanent nail traces on the wall. Here are the steps to install a liquid soap dispenser using silicone glue:

1. Be sure to use silicone glue with adequate ventilation.
2. Before applying glue, make sure the surface, both on the dispenser holder and on the wall, is clean and dry, free of dust, dirt and oil. It is recommended to wipe off the work area with rubbing alcohol.
3. Apply proper amount of silicone glue to the surface. Squeeze the tube steadily and evenly.
4. Position the holder on the wall and press firmly for a few minute. Use a scraper to wipe off excessive glue at the surrounding.
5. Allow glue to dry. It might take up to 48 hours to cure if the work area is large.
6. Place the dispenser into the holder, and pour liquid soap into it.
