Method of Application: Cotton swab, plastic scraper, glue brush
Applications: 1.To seal all places in tents where attachments are sewn to the fly, including zipper tracks, webbing, snaps, guy-outs, and Velcro.
2.To coat the stitching thread and prevent it from getting wet and to block up any holes in the fabric created by the stitching.
3.To stop leaky seams or reinforce seams.
Instructions: How to seam seal a tent?
1. For best results, wipe surface along seams with isopropyl alcohol before you start.
2. Adopt proper ventilation while applying seam sealer.
3. A typical camping seam sealer is liquid. Hold tube flat against seams. Squeeze tube gently and draw along seams.
4. Spread camping seam sealer evenly into stitch holes, fabric joints and pinholes (if there is any). Use a brush for better application. The seam sealer is colorless and can thus blend into its surrounding surfaces.
5. After you finish the application, allow 2 to 4 hours to dry.
6. Wipe the opening of the tube clean and tightly close the cap after use.
Cleanup: Sprinkle absorbent compound onto spill or residue, and weep it into a plastic or metal container. Wash spill area with soap and water. Dispose in a suitable closed container in accordance with current government regulations
Precautions: There is no particular risk for repairing articles during normal operating, but repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Vapors may cause eyes irritation, drowsiness and dizziness.
Do not swallow. Avoid eye contact or skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors and use only in well-ventilated area.
During application, use protection equipment, such as protective gloves, clothing, goggles and mask.
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces, smoke, as well as oxidizers, caustics substances and ignition materials. The mixture may produce toxic fumes of carbon monoxide if burning. Vapors may form an explosive mixture with air. Vapors can travel to source of ignition and flash back
First-Aid: In case of skin contact, remove or take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult physician if symptoms persist.
In case of eye contact, flush eye(s) cautiously with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if safe and easy to do. Consult physician.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; Consult physician immediately.
In case of inhalation, remove from exposure and move to fresh air area immediately.
