Instruction: | How to repair rips and tears using rubber glue: 1. Locate and measure the tear area. 2. Clean the tear area and keep it dry. Roughen the area with metal rasp or abrasive paper. The area roughened should be larger than the rubber patch you are to apply. 3. Apply a thin layer of rubber glue on the tear area using a clean and dry tool, and spread it around the area. Wait for at least 5 minutes for the glue to dry. 4. Take the rubber patch and cut it into proper rounded size, which should be at least three times larger than the tear area. 5. Peel off the backing and stick the rubber patch onto the tear area. Press firmly, starting from center and then all over the area. Make sure the patch is firmly attached! |
