| Instructions: | How to apply bathtub safety treads? 1. Clean the surface thoroughly and keep the area dry. It is recommended to wipe off dust and oil with isopropyl alcohol patch. (For porcelain, steel and cast-iron tubs or stairs, clean the surface with non-abrasive scouring powder and warm water. For fiberglass, ABS and other plastic tubs or stairs, clean the surface according to manufacturer’s instructions. Warning: do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to prepare surface for the treads will not adhere properly.) 2. Do not peel off the backing paper yet. Arrange tub treads with the backing in place to determine ideal positioning. It is suggested that bathtub safety treads are at least one to three inches apart for better surface coverage. 3. Peel off the backing paper one at a time and stick the treads to the intended position. Press firmly to force out any air bubbles. 4. As all the treads are applied, leave them and keep them from water for at least 12 hours. |
